Dr. Laura Marker

Dr. Laura Marker provides client-centered psychotherapy focused on empathy and understanding. She is an active listener and strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients. She works alongside her clients to help them identify their strengths and develop effective strategies to reach their goals.

Dr. Marker also has extensive experience in providing cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. She integrates evidence-based strategies to help her clients develop effective coping mechanisms and positive life changes. Dr. Marker believes that a combination of insight, understanding, and skill-building can lead to lasting change.

  • Dr. Marker holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco, and a M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco.

    Dr. Marker also has extensive experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples across a variety of clinical settings, including Lenox Hill Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center(CPMC), St. Anthony’s Medical Clinic, Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System, Mills-Clinical Training Research Institute, and The Parentline.
